On This Day…
Great fun last night with Thirsty, Maria and Thirsty’s Dad, John and wife Maggie. Not only that, for some reason Thirsty paid all the bill too, that always makes things a lot more palatable! Thanks therefore go to them.
Up early again this morning as we had a ton to do. (When don’t we), but at 4pm we have the mastic on the bath, the curtains and extractor up and all that really wants doing now is skirting, radiator and bath panel. Should be a couple of hours and we’ll be done. That’s for another day though as I have to get over to Steve’s to borrow the bench saw.
Was navigating the intertubes earlier and came across an article on online fraud and the hotspots in the UK. Interestingly they mentioned few of the ones we seem to suffer all the time from KA3 and CA anything, but what really got my goat was the police trying to cover up their ineptitude by saying the incidents got reported late, as people were told to notify their banks first. Hang on a cotton-picking minute… I have reported a crime before it happened and while it was going on…response? Nothing, Nada. So don’t give me that old tosh. Take some of the ones with traffic cameras away and give them some real crime to stop!
Anyhow, enough of my ranting…….
On this day in history and last year…
