On This Day…
Took a half day off yesterday as is usual at this time of year in an effort to use up remaining Holiday. It wasn’t overly productive, but as there was still light when I did get home I managed to do a little leaf clearing and get the sycamore ‘helicopters’ off the tennis court so that looks a little more respectable, although there is a little moss getting back on it.
The later evening brought a trip to St Mary’s to watch Saints in action against Wycombe Wanderers and…we won 1-0 and are out of the drop zone! It was an ugly game on an awful rainy night with a cold wind swirling around the stadium, but sometimes, you just have to win ugly! More to the point, Pompey shipped another 4 goals and now find themselves out of the Carling Cup! All together now…. 
Tiger Woods’ appears to have spoken to police finally. I’m obviously not in the US but if that were here and I kept telling the police to come back tomorrow, I’d be arrested and carted back to their place. What on earth is going on there. Give him some time to get his story straight why don’t you?
