On This Day…
Turned into a bit of a yuk day yesterday. Appears I picked up a bug that is going around. Jo’s work is light of staff through it and Emma was at home being sick yesterday too. Me, well it took me out of a couple of meetings yesterday, we’ll leave it at that
Managed to work through though, in fact until the late train, so still put the shift in.
After getting home I also managed to get the bathroom floor all prepared and put most of the whole tiles down. I maybe could have got about another six down, but still want to finally check my new plumbing doesn’t leak before tiling over and that left me at around 26 laid. Also, just to make a full evening I had to make room for the new fridge which is being delivered this evening. At least I didn’t need to cook tea
Saints played out a very disappointing 0-0 draw away to Wycombe Wanderers after Saturday’s great result. The play-offs seem to come and go at the minute, but the season ebbs away and we make no real ground on those above us.
Poorsmouth too have news that if they cannot secure a buyer by Friday that they will be going into administration and accepting the 9 point deduction that goes with it. That will secure relegation for them which, is the limit of my desire
On this day in history and last year…
